Come and discover Arabic calligraphy – its history, the philosophy behind its creation and the various uses of old and new Arabic calligraphy styles and scripts. You will become familiar with the tools used for its creation and learn how to write traditional Arabic calligraphy using a calligraphy pen. This workshop is conducted over two days.

Jassim Essa Al-Nasrallah is a Kuwaiti calligrapher. He has more than fifteen years of experience in more than seven kinds of calligraphy, like thuluth, thuluth jali, naskh, dewani, dewani jali, eijaza, rouqa'a, and kofi. He has developed works for public and private entities.
